What is the best AEO service for an independent real estate agent?

There's no single best AEO service. There are three kinds of help, and which one fits depends on whether you need someone to do the work, a way to keep score, or the basics fixed. Here's who sells what, and what each costs where the price is public.

Three kinds of AEO help for a real estate agent: a done-for-you service (Lofty, price on request), a tracker (Trakkr, BrightLocal, Local Falcon) and local listing tools (Semrush Local $60 a month per location, Whitespark from $14 a month). Prices as stated on vendor pages, November 2026.

Short answer: there isn't one best service, because "AEO service" covers three different jobs. Some companies do the work for you, some only tell you whether AI names you, and some fix the local listings that AI tools lean on. Pick by the job you need done, and be wary of any list that ranks them, including the ones sold by the companies on it.

What does AEO mean for an agent?

AEO is answer engine optimization: making it more likely that when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity for an agent, your name is in the answer. Nobody controls that. What you can control is whether there's something clear for the tool to read about you, and whether you check the result. We wrote more on that in what AEO is.

What are the three kinds of help?

  1. Done for you. A company marks up your site, builds pages, cleans up your listings and writes content.
  2. Keeping score. A tool asks the AI tools a list of questions every so often and reports whether you came back.
  3. The local basics. Listings, reviews and Google Business Profile, kept consistent, because answer tools read those too.

Who sells the done-for-you kind?

Lofty sells a service for "a single agent or team per market." Its page says it adds RealEstateAgent schema to your site, lines up your name, phone and address across more than 20 directories, builds pages for each neighborhood and price range written around full buyer questions, works on third-party mentions, and tracks where ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity cite you. It says it takes under an hour of your time. I read the page on November 2, 2026, and it shows no price. It says Lofty will "put your exact number in writing and send it over tomorrow."

Other real estate platforms and agencies offer similar managed SEO and AI visibility plans, and most keep the monthly price off the page. I couldn't open a few of those pages to read them, so I'm not describing them here. Ask any of them for the price in writing before anything else.

Who sells the keeping-score kind?

A tracker tells you if you're named. It doesn't make you named. Trakkr describes its own product as tracking prompts, citations, competitor visibility and perception across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot. It publishes the list that is the source for much of this section, and lists itself first. The page says it's "not a vendor ranking or live benchmark." No price is on that page.

You can do a rough version free. Ask the same five questions in each tool once a month, such as "Who is a good agent for condos in Brickell?" Write down who comes back. We explain the steps in a separate article on checking what ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity say.

Who sells the local basics?

The same Trakkr page lists these, with prices as it states them. I haven't checked them against the vendors' own pages:

ToolWhat the page says it doesPrice on that page
Semrush LocalListings, reviews and Google Business Profile, with local rankingsLocal Pro, $60 a month per location
Whitespark Local Rank TrackerLocal map and organic rankings by neighborhoodFrom $14 a month
BrightLocalReviews, listings, citations and profile dataNot on the page
Local FalconStreet-level Google Business Profile rankingsNot on the page

These are built for businesses with a storefront. For an agent they mostly help with the Google Business Profile part, which we covered in our Google Business Profile article. They don't track AI answers on their own.

Where does Swift Agent Sites fit?

We sell the site part. The Agent Website is $89 a month: pages AI tools and search engines can read, with your name, license and towns spelled out. A StrollPlace seat is $99 a month, for neighborhood pages for people deciding where to move. We don't track AI answers for you, and we can't promise a mention. Our free site check shows whether AI tools can read your site. That makes us one answer to the first job and none to the other two, so don't read this as saying we're the best.

What does our own data say about why this matters?

An AI tool can only name an agent it can find. On November 2, 2026 I counted the license records we hold from state files in our database. Texas has 326,991, Florida 449,589 and Arizona 221,493. Those counts include records that aren't active, and the number of working agents is smaller. The point is simple. In any one town there are hundreds of agents, and a tool needs a reason to pick one.

How do I choose?

  1. Do you have a site AI can read? If not, start there, with us or with anyone else.
  2. Do you have time? If not, a done-for-you service saves it. Ask for the price in writing, what exactly is delivered each month and how long the contract runs.
  3. Are you narrow? No service fixes "I sell everything everywhere." Pick one neighborhood, one kind of home or one kind of client first.
  4. Test monthly. Whatever you buy, the check above shows whether it helped. Anyone promising rankings or leads is promising something they can't see.
