How your emails did: delivery, replies and bounces
The How your emails did card on Today covers the last 30 days:
- Sent - how many emails went out.
- Delivered - how many arrived.
- Replied - how many people wrote back. This is the number that matters.
- Bounced - as a percentage, with a word beside it: healthy under 2%, worth watching above that, and too high from 5%, which is where email providers start slowing senders down.
- Spam reports - anyone who marked you as spam. They are never emailed by your flows again.
Click any number to see the contacts behind it. If you send from more than one domain, a switch lets you see each domain on its own, because each one keeps its own reputation.
Opens are not counted. Apple Mail opens every email to load its pictures, whether or not anyone reads it, so the number flatters and tells you nothing. A reply is the real signal.
