Boxes: splitting your inbox
Boxes are queues inside your inbox - for example Showings, Billing or Listings.
- In Inbox, press Boxes at the bottom of the menu beside the list.
- Give the box a name, and a short address word - for example
showings. - Optionally add words it watches for, separated by commas (for example
showing, tour, viewing). - Save.
Filing by who it is from
In a box, the Mail from these people line takes addresses, and a whole company when you write it as @theirs.com. Everything from them lands in that box.
Quicker still: open a conversation and press ⋯ file their mail beside their address. Choose one of your boxes, or make a new one on the spot, and pick whether it is just them or their whole company. The ticket you are looking at moves there too.
A box keeps its mail to itself
Once an email is in a box it leaves the main views and their counts - so spam filed into a Spam box never shows under Needs an answer again. Open the box in the menu to see what is in it, and Loose shows everything in no box at all.
What lands where
Email sent to that box's address - yourname+showings@swiftagentsites.com, or showings@yourdomain.com once your domain is connected - lands in the box. So does any email whose subject or text has one of its words. Everything else stays in the main inbox.
Each box shows how many tickets are waiting in the menu beside the list. You can also move a ticket into a box from the bar at its top.
