Help center › Email and your inbox
A box that answers as you, and one only you can see
Each box can answer in its own name - useful when your own mail is forwarded into the CRM and should not read as though the company replied.
- Open Boxes from the inbox.
- Replies say: the name on the email, e.g. your own.
- from: the address replies come from. Only an address on a domain you have verified at Sending can be used; a Gmail or Outlook address is saved as the answer address instead, and the page tells you why.
- answers go to: where replies should land - your own inbox, if that is what feeds this box.
- Tick Only I can see this box to keep it yours: the box and everything in it stays out of the team's views and their counts.
Why the restriction on the From address: mail providers refuse to send as a domain that has not proved it is yours. A reply carrying your name, from your verified domain, with answers going to your own inbox is the closest thing that actually arrives.
